Dr Brenda Moodley

Dr Moodley is a home-grown Analytical Applied Chemist whose interests lie in the field of Environmental Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry. After her PhD, she took up a Postdoctoral study at the University of Arizona, in Tucson, Arizona, USA where she gained experience in mass spectrometry.

She is involved in a number of projects involving analysis of organic pollutants in the environment, development of adsorbents for the remediation of water as well as natural products chemistry.
