Dr Ilya Sinayskiy

Associate Professor

Prof Sinayskiy graduated in 2003 from the Samara State University (Russian Federation), where he also received his PhD (candidate of science in physics and mathematics) in 2007. Starting in 2008, he was a post-doc with Prof Francesco Petruccione in Durban (UKZN). From 2009 to 2016, Dr Sinayskiy was a Researcher at the National Institute for Theoretical Physics (KwaZulu-Natal node). Prof Sinayskiy joined the School of Chemistry and Physics as a Senior Lecturer in May 2016 and later became an Associate Professor in November 2020.
